Settembre, cuore della stagione della vendemmia. Percorrendo la costa adriatica da Bari verso nord, si arriva a Trani, suggestiva cittadina marina nota per il Moscato di Trani doc. Da qui si prosegue fino a raggiungere la zona doc Castel del Monte, nome che onora il celebre castello voluto da Federico II, imperatore di Svevia il cui passaggio è testimoniato in tutta l'area che si distende fino al territorio della Daunia. Un paesaggio disegnato da vigne, mandorli e uliveti, ma anche dalle imponenti cattedrali, dalle affascinanti gravine e dalle caratteristiche masserie, spesso fortificate, ove degustare i prodotti geniuini di questa generosa terra. E sulla strada del ritorno ecco Rovo di Puglia, sintesi di storia ed alta vocazione vitivinicola.

September, the heart of the grape harvest season. Travelling north along the Adriatic coast from Bari, one arrives at Trani, a charming seaside town known for its "Moscato di Trani doc". From here we continue until we reach the Castel del Monte area, a name that honours the famous castle built by Frederick II, the Swabian emperor whose passage is witnessed throughout the area that stretches as far as the Daunia territory. A landscape designed by vineyards, almond and olive groves, but also by imposing cathedrals, fascinating ravines and characteristic masserie, often fortified, where you can taste the geniuine products of this generous land. And on the way back here is Rovo di Puglia, a synthesis of history and high wine vocation.
